Ash is a no brained, Brock is a chad companion, Lillie is best girl (and the best Ash ship. I don’t care who that offends, it’s the truth), Guzma’s the best villain in the anime (albeit with very little worthy competition…), and James is my favorite Team Rocket guy and is literally me as a Pokémon character XD

Yeah, totally get that, was disappointed by the whole robot thing too (and i play scarlet and only traded them for dex entry). I think the most disappointing about them are the shinys. no flashing bright color changes on their many LED-lights they have, just a monochrome body everytime...

I always figured the future paradox pokemon being robots was a sign that pokemon went extinct, and humans built robots in their image that immatated and then surpassed their once living counterparts.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, the Gen 1-3 movies were Pokemon at its peak! The Gen 4 movies were also really good! Maybe a little weaker. But still right up there! Personally, I wasn’t as excited watching the Gen 5 or 6 movies. And then Gen 7 is when they started splitting the movies from the anime and I just felt totally disconnected from them.

Personally, I still enjoyed finding Iron Treads in the desert. Just seeing this massive beast in the distance was so surreal! It was one of the few moments in the game I actually found to be memorable lol

They are trying to be a little like marvel. Trying to do something for newer audience while forgeting the actual lovers of pokemon (even new users). They should have at least given paradox forms of Charizard (Both past and future) and Mewtwo (Two future forms).

Honestly I think the idea was to create the impression of entire world of Genesects. From the perspective of Storytelling and dystopian universes it is a really good idea however the kind of hit you over the head with the Pokemon are just weapons aspect without giving off the visual aspect of 'Unmaking nature.'

I think its more a problem for Pokemkn in general. Looking back to the firsr gen of Pokemon, i never felt like Pokemon supposed to be animal. They were monsters that based upon many things, like animal, plants, folklore, and many more. I thought of that, mainly because in the early era of pokemon, normal animal like fish, etc coexist with Pokemon. But as the time goes on, they decided to retconing that Pokemon replacing the existent of animal. Sorry for my bad english.
